Below you will find a summary of the compensation and benefits we offer to company drivers and also a summary of the terms of lease we offer our owner operators.

Summary of Compensation and Benefits for YTC Company Drivers

    • Drivers receive a 24% commission on line-haul for all loads hauled
    • Drivers also receive 24% commission on selected accessorial charges, such as tarping, detention, and tipboard charges
    • Drivers receive a per diem of $20.00 for each night they are on the road
    • The 24% commission is equivalent to a starting per mile rate of 458 cents per mile for all miles traveled
    • Guaranteed pay of at least $750 per week
    • $20 per load delivered in addition to the 24% commission
Health Benefits (30 day waiting period)
    • YTC pays 90% of drivers’ health insurance premiums under the plan and a portion of family plans
    • Voluntary Flexible Spending Account (FSA) plan allows employees to pay for health care expenses on a tax-free basis
    • Voluntary dental and vision coverage at low cost
401(k) Plan (1 year waiting period)
    • Matching 401(k) plan
    • YTC matches 100% of employee contributions up to 3% of employee annual salary, and 50% of employee contributions between 3% and 5% of employee annual salary
Safety Bonus
    • $800 annually, based upon claims experience
    • eligible to be paid $200 quarterly
Fuel Efficiency Bonus
    • $1,000 annually, based upon achievement of fuel efficiency goals
    • eligible to be paid $250 every 2 months
Driver of the Year
    • Annual driver competition based upon a number of safety, service and professionalism criteria
    • $2,500 cash prize to winner; $1,000 cash prize to runner-up
Paid Time Off
    • 6 paid holidays annually
    • 8 paid time off days annually
Home Time
    • YTC company drivers are home more than 95% of weekends annually
    • 1 week of paid orientation
    • Permanently assigned tractors and trailers, with no slip-seating
    • All YTC company tractors are 2013 or newer
