Summary of Compensation and Benefits for YTC Company Drivers – Effective 8/2/21

OTR Company Driver – (Southeast)

Option 1 – Yearly Salary 

  • 5-6 Axles – $65,000 Annual ($1,250 per week)
  • 7 Axles – $70,200 Annual ($1,350 per week)
  • 8 Axles – $75,400 Annual ($1,450 per week)
  • Must be available to work Monday thru Saturday. If Saturday evening layover is required, driver will receive $250 weekend pay
  • 6 Paid Holidays

Option 2 – Commission

  • Drivers receive a 28% commission on line-haul for all loads hauled
  • Drivers also receive 28% commission on selected accessorial charges, such as tarping, detention, and tipboard charges

Local Company Driver – (Greensboro/Winston-Salem/Charlotte Areas) 

  • $62,400 Annual Salary ($1,200 per week)
  • 6 Paid Holidays

Additional Pay Items and Benefits for both OTR Company & Local Drivers

  • $1000 Orientation Pay Per Week ($200 per day) + Hotel Option if needed
  • 12 Days’ Vacation/PTO (6 Month Waiting Period)
  • Annual Bonus based on tenure – Less than 3 years $1,250, 3 years or more $2,000
  • Weekly Per Diem of $80.00
  • Annual Safety Bonus – $200 per quarter and additional $500 if all 4 quarters received
  • Annual Equipment Reimbursement – $500 (PPE & Cell Phone)
  • 90% Employer Paid Health Insurance for Employee & 60% for Spouse/Dependents (30 Day waiting period)
  • Vision & Dental Insurance option (30 Day waiting period)

  • Driver of the Year Award – $2,500 cash prize to winner & $1,000 cash prize to runner-up
  • YTC Drivers are home more than 95% of weekends annually
